“ I've been coming here for years and every time it's as good as the first. I highly recommend the turkey cuban and the potato salad! ”
“ We had a very nice time at Blue Surf Cafe! I ordered the turkey Cuban with no ham and it was absolutely delicious! I am pretty sure the aioli was not sriracha and was something else but it was sooo good. My husband and friend got the same thing and we all raved about it. I also got the potato salad on the side and it was yummy! This was a great spot to meet up with friends for a quick bite on the way out of town. Plus everyone was so nice! ”
“ Nvr had a bad experience here, ever. Food is amazing and prices are very reasonable! Highly recommend! ”
“ Service was quick and friendly! Healthy options on the menu, in addition to classic favorites with a twist. Outdoor seating available. The inside has kind of a warehouse feel to it, so it echos a bit. Food was fresh and tasty. Definitely recommend the chickpeas... lemony vinaigrette with feta and cilantro. Cuba o was toasty nicely and the pork is flavorful. The Havana Bowl is DEE-LICIOUS. The grits are creamy and the was banging, per my husband ”
“ So you're dropping off a wallet-draining tuition investment at UNCW on a weekend when every hotel room and Ayer Bee an' Bee is booked solid six months in advance. You want breakfast, but the Boysenberry Brunch Cafe has 253 people in the queue. You get Donkin' every week so what's a group to do? Blue Surf could be the answer. Tucked in a nondescript strip center behind an auto dealer is where you'll find a fast serving, friendly staffed, quick service restaurant with inside-and-outside seating. You might run into a retiree's group on a Saturday but don't worry - ordering is counter service and the kitchen is fast. Staff run your orders to your table so your only task is to doctor your fresh coffee or nurse your selection from the bar. We end up returning here over and over as the fare is fresh and generous. Breakfast bowls and plates are Southern or Southwest inspired. Biscuits are large and bacon thick-sliced and properly crisp. There are lunch sandwiches from noon-on and this location also does dinner service until 9pm. Buttermilk Maple Bacon waffles came covered in chunks of caramelized goodness and were stout enough to support good doses of syrup. Eggs are cooked to order and delicious. The only area of improvement are their grits which tend to be a bit dark, overdry and peppery. If you mix an over easy fried egg in with them, they are much better. Dress is casual (no Salt Life or Vinyard Vines required). This is a great alternative to expensive and crowded brunch places, but don't tell anyone l told you - we don't want them toooo busy ;) Your wallet will thank you later. ”
“ Food was good! Staff respected our company. Was decorated with pictures! Was a great experience ”
“ We came here because they had croissant breakfast sandwiches, and they did not disappoint! Very good! The service was great and the feel of the place was relaxed. The food is the headline here ”
“ Great find with unique, fresh food. Not processed! Delicious and a must go to in the Port City. ”
